To ensure your event goes smoothly here are a few things you will need to bring with you :


Pole Class / Courses

 

1. A sense of humour !

2. A pair of trainers / bare feet.

3. A pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Shorts are required as you will need the skin on your legs to grip the pole. You are also welcome to wear tracksuit bottoms over the top until your leg grip is required.  

4. Bring a drink with you, but no alcohol please.

5. When you arrive please wash your hands as no creams or oils must be used as it may cause you to slip on the pole.

6. Please remove any sharp objects such as belts or jewellery that may cause you harm or scratch the pole.


Aerial Hoop Class / Courses

 

1. A sense of humour !

2. Bare feet.

3. A pair of leggings, a tight fitting top which will not fall over your head, long socks and a pair of legwarmers if you have them.  

4. Bring a drink with you, but no alcohol please.

5. When you arrive please wash your hands as no creams or oils must be used as it may cause you to slip on the hoop.

6. Please remove any sharp objects such as belts or jewellery that may cause you harm or scratch the hoop.

 

Things to be aware of :

 

A

Pole and Aerial Hoop requires a certain amount of upper body strength, therefore as well as the pole / aerial hoop moves, muscular strength exercises will also be taught.

B

You may gain bruising in areas such as the inner arms and legs whilst learning aerial hoop / pole moves.

C

On arrival you will be asked to complete a PARQ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionaire). Should you have any medical conditions the instructor should be aware of please bring them to your instructors attention at the beginning of the class or email kathy@polefusion.co.uk .
